The 9000 or so houses lost in the earthquakes left us with acres of lands with gardens remaining. Many people went foraging and this idea got into publics affection with a foraging map of the abundant trees being created.

From about 2012-2015, it was a very special and humbling time amongst the shells of houses and the wild, abundant gardens, It was quiet and serene. We had flowers, fruit and the marks of people, long gone.
